“บางกอกเจมส์” ครั้งที่ 70 ปิดฉากยิ่งใหญ่ ยอดสั่งซื้อทะลุ 3288 ล้านบาท ผู้ชมงานเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 6.11 ดันไทยขึ้นแท่นศูนย์กลางการค้าอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับโลก
กรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ (DITP) และสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับแห่งชาติ (องค์การมหาชน) หรือ GIT เผยผลการจัดงาน “Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair” หรือ Bangkok Gems ครั้งที่ 70 ระหว่างวันที่ 9-13 กันยายน ที่ผ่านมา ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ประสบความสำเร็จเกินความคาดหมาย ยอดสั่งซื้อทะลุ 3288 ล้านบาท มีผู้เข้าร่วมงานจากทั่วโลกเกือบ 40000 ราย สองผู้จัดงานประกาศเดินหน้าจัดงานครั้งต่อไปอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ เตรียมขยายพื้นที่เพิ่มอีกกว่า 100 คูหา
นายภูสิต รัตนกุล เสรีเริงฤทธิ์ อธิบดีกรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ (DITP) เปิดเผยว่า “ความสำเร็จของการจัดงาน Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair ครั้งที่ 70 เป็นผลจากความร่วมมือกันของทั้ง 2 ผู้จัด DITP และ GIT ตลอดจนคณะอำนวยการจัดงานและหน่วยงานพันธมิตรภาคเอกชนกว่า 13 องค์กร ผลการจัดงานก่อให้เกิดมูลค่าการสั่งซื้อภายในงานตลอดทั้ง 5 วันรวมกว่า 3251 ล้านบาท มี Exhibitor ชั้นนำทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศเข้าร่วมงานจำนวน 1101 ราย 2470 คูหา จาก 20 ประเทศ จัดแสดงเต็มพื้นที่ฮอลล์ 1-8 ของชั้น G และ LG ภายในศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ และมีผู้ชมงานจำนวน 39579 ราย เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 6.11 จากการจัดงานครั้งที่ผ่านมา โดยมีสัดส่วนเป็นผู้เข้าชมงานต่างชาติถึงร้อยละ 72 โดย 5 อันดับแรกได้แก่ อินเดีย เมียนมา จีน ศรีลังกา และญี่ปุ่น ส่วนประเภทสินค้าที่มียอดสั่งซื้อสูงสุด 5 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ พลอย (Gemstones) เครื่องประดับเงิน (Silver Jewelry) เพชร (Diamonds) เครื่องประดับทอง (Gold Jewelry) และเครื่องประดับแท้ (Fine Jewelry) ตามลำดับ ในการจัดงานครั้งหน้าเรามีแผนการขยายพื้นที่จัดงานเพิ่มขึ้นอีกเกือบ 100 คูหา เพื่อให้สามารถรองรับความต้องการของ Exhibitor ที่จำนวนเพิ่มมากขึ้น จากความผลความสำเร็จดังกล่าวแสดงให้เห็นถึงความเชื่อมั่นของนักธุรกิจจากทั่วโลกที่มีต่อประเทศไทยในฐานะศูนย์กลางการค้าอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับของโลกได้เป็นอย่างดี”
ด้าน นายสุเมธ ประสงค์พงษ์ชัย ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับแห่งชาติ (GIT) กล่าวว่า “งานบางกอกเจมส์ เป็นงานแสดงสินค้าอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในประเทศไทย และยิ่งใหญ่ติดอันดับ 1 ใน 4 ของโลก จากจุดเด่นของประเทศไทยในการเป็นศูนย์กลางการค้าพลอยสีที่สำคัญของโลก รวมถึงคุณภาพและความประณีตในการผลิตเครื่องประดับ ทำให้งานบางกอกส์เจมส์ เป็นจุดหมายของผู้ซื้อและนักธุรกิจจากทั่วโลกต้องมาเยือน นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นยังเป็นเวทีสร้างพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจและเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ผ่านกิจกรรมพิเศษที่เกี่ยวเนื่องมากมาย ได้แก่ นิทรรศการจัดแสดงสินค้าอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับจากช่างฝีมือไทย กิจกรรม Networking Reception กิจกรรมสัมมนาให้ความรู้ด้านการตลาด ตลอดจนกิจกรรมอื่นๆ คู่ขนานไปกับงานแสดงสินค้าด้วย อาทิ กิจกรรมความร่วมมือระหว่างผู้จัดงานและองค์กรนานาชาติ การลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจความร่วมมือ (MoU) ร่วมกับองค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้สอดคล้องกับข้อตกลงด้านการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมโลกที่ยั่งยืน” จากความสำเร็จของการจัดงานครั้งนี้ DITP และ GIT ประกาศความพร้อมเตรียมจัดงาน Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair ครั้งที่ 71 ให้ยิ่งใหญ่กว่าเดิม โดยงานจะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 22 – 26 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ สำหรับผู้ที่สนใจสามารถสอบถามรายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมและจองพื้นที่ล่วงหน้าได้ที่ 02 634 4999 ต่อ 639 หรือ www.bkkgems.com
The 70th “Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair” Concludes with Great Success with Orders Reaching the Target of almost 100 Million USD and a 6.11% Increase in Visitors Propelling Thailand as a Global Gem and Jewelry Trading Hub
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (Public Organization) or GIT have announced the results of the 70th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair held from 9-13 September 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event exceeded expectations with total purchase orders reaching the target of almost 100 million USD and nearly 40000 attendees from around the world. The two organizers have committed to an even grander event next year with plans to expand the exhibition area by over 100 additional booths.
Mr. Phusit Ratanakul Sereroengrit Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) revealed that ”The success of the 70th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair is a result of the collaboration between DITP GIT the organizing committee and more than 13 private sector partners. The five-day event generated purchase orders totaling over 100 million USD with 1101 exhibitors from both domestic and international markets occupying 2470 booths from 20 countries. The entire Hall 1-8 of floors G and LG at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center was fully occupied. The event attracted 39579 visitors marking a 6.11% increase compared to the previous edition with international visitors making up 72% of attendees. The top five countries represented were India Myanmar China Sri Lanka and Japan. The top five product categories with the highest purchase orders were gemstones silver jewelry diamonds gold jewelry and fine jewelry respectively. In the next edition we plan to expand the exhibition space by more than 100 booths to meet the increasing demand from exhibitors. This success clearly demonstrates the global business community’s confidence in Thailand as a key hub for the global gems and jewelry trade.”
Mr. Sumed Prasongphongchai Director-General of The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT) added “Bangkok Gems is the oldest gem and jewelry trade fair in Thailand and ranks among the top four in the world. Thailand’s prominence as a key global center for colored gemstones combined with the quality and craftsmanship of its jewelry makes the Bangkok Gems fair a must-visit for buyers and businesspeople worldwide. The fair also serves as a platform for building business alliances and exchanging knowledge through various special activities including exhibitions of gemstones and jewelry by Thai artisans networking receptions marketing seminars and other concurrent events such as collaborations with international organizations and signing memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization to prepare the Thai industrial sector to be in line with sustainable global trade and industrial agreements.”
