สำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล หรือ ดีป้า แถลงข่าวความพร้อมจัดการแข่งขัน depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT (Grand Final Tournament) กิจกรรมหลักภายใต้โครงการ depa ESPORTS ที่จะเกิดขึ้นในวันศุกร์ที่ 30 พฤษภาคมนี้

นายฉัตรชัย คุณปิติลักษณ์ รองผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ สำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล หรือ ดีป้า เปิดเผยว่า โครงการ depa ESPORTS ที่เริ่มดำเนินการตั้งแต่เดือนพฤศจิกายน 2567 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้าง ‘Esports Ecosystem Sandbox’ โดย
การวางรากฐานระบบนิเวศอุตสาหรรมอีสปอร์ตของประเทศ รวมถึงอุตสาหกรรมอื่นที่เกี่ยวเนื่องผ่านการส่งเสริมการยกระดับทักษะและความเชี่ยวชาญแก่คนรุ่นใหม่และผู้ที่สนใจ การสร้างแรงบันดาลใจในสาขาอาชีพที่เกี่ยวข้อง ไม่ว่าจะเป็น นักกีฬา โค้ช ผู้จัดการทีม นักแคส ผู้จัดการแข่งขัน ฯลฯ ควบคู่ไปกับการสร้างความตระหนักรู้และทัศนคติที่ดีต่ออาชีพในวงการอีสปอร์ต และการพัฒนาศักยภาพอุตสาหกรรมอีสปอร์ตไทยเทียบเท่าระดับสากล ซึ่งดำเนินการภายใต้ 4 กิจกรรม ได้แก่ depa ESPORTS IN SCHOOL depa ESPORTS ACADEMY depa ESPORTS ACCELERATOR PROGRAM และ depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT ซึ่งแต่ละ กิจกรรมถือเป็น ‘Sandbox’ ที่กระตุ้นให้เกิดการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมอีสปอร์ตของประเทศอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

นายฉัตรชัย กล่าวต่อว่า โครงการ depa ESPORTS ได้รับกระแสตอบรับเป็นอย่างดี โดยมีผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมของโครงการเป็นจำนวนมาก โดยเฉพาะการร่วมแข่งขันในกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ทั้งการแข่งขันรายการย่อยในกิจกรรม depa ESPORTS IN SCHOOL และในกิจกรรม depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Daily Tournament Influencer Tournament และ Regional Tournament รวมกว่า 6500 คน ซึ่งมากกว่าเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้ที่ 5000 คน

“สำหรับการแข่งขัน depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT (Grand Final Tournament) ในวันศุกร์ที่ 30 พฤษภาคมนี้ที่ BEAT Active BITEC BURI ถือเป็นเวทีแห่งโอกาสที่ยิ่งใหญ่สำหรับ 16 ทีมอีสปอร์ตหน้าใหม่ที่ผ่านการชิงชัยจนได้เป็นตัวแทนจาก 8 ภูมิภาคทั่วประเทศผ่านเวทีการแข่งขัน depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT (Regional Tournament) ที่จะมาโชว์ ‘ของ’ ให้แฟน ๆ และผู้ที่สนใจได้ร่วมลุ้น ร่วมเชียร์ ก่อนห้ำหั่นกันในเกม Arena of Valor (RoV) เพื่อหาผู้ชนะ พร้อมรับเงินรางวัลมูลค่ารวม 600000 บาท และคว้าโอกาสเข้าสู่เส้นทางในวงการอีสปอร์ต ซึ่งกิจกรรมดังกล่าวจะเป็นฟันเฟืองสำคัญในการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมอีสปอร์ตไทย และเป็นหนึ่งแรงขับเคลื่อนในการยกระดับเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลของประเทศ โดย ดีป้า ประเมินว่า กิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ในโครงการจะช่วยพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมอีสปอร์ตไทยทั้งระบบ โดยตั้งเป้าพัฒนากำลังคนเติมเต็มภาคอุตสาหกรรมและอุตสาหกรรมอื่นที่เกี่ยวเนื่องไม่น้อยกว่า 1.5 แสนคน อีกทั้งกระตุ้นให้เกิดมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจมากกว่า 1000 ล้านบาท”

depa Prepares to Host depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT (Grand Final Tournament) Searching for the Best Emerging Esports Teams Nationwide to Step into Esports Industry

28 May 2025 Bangkok – depa has announced its readiness to host the depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT (Grand Final Tournament) a platform for showcasing the potential of emerging esports teams representing regional competitions. These teams will compete for the championship title under the depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT project and take their first steps into the professional esports industry. The event aims to play a key role in driving Thailand’s esports sector forward and enhancing the nation’s digital economy. Esports fans don’t miss out! The Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) held a press conference to announce its readiness to host the depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT (Grand Final Tournament)—the main event under the depa ESPORTS project which will take place this Friday 30 May at BEAT Active BITEC BURI.

Mr. Chatchai Khunpitiluck Executive Vice President of depa stated that the depa ESPORTS project launched in November 2024 aims to establish an ‘Esports Ecosystem Sandbox’ a foundation for developing Thailand’s esports ecosystem and related industries. The project promotes skill enhancement and expertise among young people and interested individuals while inspiring careers in various esports-related fields such as professional players coaches team managers casters tournament organizers and more. In parallel it also seeks to raise awareness and cultivate positive attitudes toward esports as a professional path and to elevate the capabilities of Thailand’s esports industry to meet international standards. The initiative is implemented through four core activities: depa ESPORTS IN SCHOOLS depa ESPORTS ACADEMY depa ESPORTS ACCELERATOR PROGRAM and depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT. Each of these activities functions as a ‘sandbox’ designed to drive tangible and comprehensive development of the national esports industry.

Mr. Chatchai further stated that the depa ESPORTS project has received an overwhelmingly positive response with many participants engaging in various project activities. In particular the competitive events ranging from sub-tournaments under depa ESPORTS IN SCHOOLS to various competitions within the depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT such as the Daily Tournament Influencer Tournament and Regional Tournament have attracted over 6500 participants significantly exceeding the original target of 5000.

“For the depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT (Grand Final Tournament) taking place this Friday 30 May at BEAT Active BITEC BURI it will be a major opportunity for 16 emerging esports teams regional champions from 8 regions across the country selected through the depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT (Regional Tournament). These teams will showcase their skills and compete in Arena of Valor (RoV) for the championship title a total prize pool of 600000 THB and the chance to step into the professional. This event will play a vital role in the development of Thailand’s esports industry and serve as a key driver in boosting the country’s digital economy. depa estimates that activities under the project will help develop the entire Thai esports ecosystem with a target of nurturing over 150000 skilled individuals to support both the esports sector and related industries and generate over 1 billion THB in economic value.” the Executive Vice President of depa said.

In addition to the intense competition among rising esports teams battling for glory the event will also feature a wide range of exciting activities including:
