บ้านปู ลงนามสัญญาเงินกู้ 2.4 พันล้านบาท กับ ADB เสริมแกร่งธุรกิจอีโมบิลิตี้และแบตเตอรี่

บริษัท บ้านปู จำกัด (มหาชน) ผู้นำด้านพลังงานที่หลากหลายในระดับนานาชาติ ได้ลงนามสัญญาเงินกู้ มูลค่า 2.4 พันล้านบาท กับธนาคารพัฒนาเอเชีย (Asian Development Bank: ADB) ซึ่งรวมถึงเงินกู้เงื่อนไขผ่อนปรน จำนวน 10.7 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ จากกองทุนเพื่อเทคโนโลยีสะอาด (ADB-Administered Clean Technology) เพื่อเป็นทุนสนับสนุนธุรกิจบริการรถตุ๊กตุ๊กไฟฟ้า 6 ที่นั่ง จำนวน 1500 คัน และการสนับสนุนธุรกิจพลังงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ได้แก่ สถานีชาร์จแบตเตอรี่สำหรับการคมนาคมขนส่งขนาดเล็กในเขตพื้นที่กรุงเทพฯ รวมถึงการขยายฐานการผลิตแบตเตอรี่ลิเธียมไอออนสำหรับยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าขนาด 1.3 กิกะวัตต์ชั่วโมง ในมณฑลเจียงซู สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน โดยเงินทุนนี้จะช่วยเสริมความแข็งแกร่งให้แก่ธุรกิจเทคโนโลยีพลังงานของบ้านปู และสนับสนุนการเร่งเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ธุรกิจพลังงานที่สะอาดและฉลาดขึ้น (Greener & Smarter)

ปัจจุบัน ธุรกิจอีโมบิลิตี้ ของบ้านปู เน็กซ์ ให้บริการรถตุ๊กตุ๊กไฟฟ้าผ่านมูฟมี (MuvMi) ในลักษณะ Ride Sharing ครอบคลุม 12 พื้นที่ในเขตใจกลางกรุงเทพฯ และมีจุดให้บริการกว่า 3000 จุด สำหรับระบบกักเก็บพลังงาน บริษัทฯ มีธุรกิจที่ครอบคลุมตลอดทั้งห่วงโซ่อุปทาน รวมถึงบริการโซลูชันด้านแบตเตอรี่ที่เต็มศักยภาพแบบครบวงจร ตั้งแต่การผลิต จัดจำหน่ายแบตเตอรี่ การนำแบตเตอรี่มาใช้ซ้ำและการรีไซเคิลแบตเตอรี่ที่ใช้กับยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าและแบตเตอรี่สำรองไฟ สำหรับโรงไฟฟ้าพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์และโรงไฟฟ้าพลังงานหมุนเวียน

Banpu Signs THB 2.4 Billion Deal with ADB to Bolster E-Mobility  

and Battery Businesses

Banpu Public Company Limited a leading international versatile energy provider signed a THB 2.4 billion loan with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) including a concessional loan of USD 10.7 million from the ADB-administered Clean Technology Fund to support the financing of 1500 six-seater e-Tuk Tuks related energy support including charging stations for micro-scale transit services in Bangkok Thailand and an expansion of 1.3-gigawatt-hour of a lithium-ion electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility in Jiangsu province in the People’s Republic of China (PRC). This fund will strengthen Banpu’s Energy Technology business and accelerate the Greener & Smarter transformation.
